Sponsor evidence explained

A sponsor licence is the beginning of the check—not the answer.

An employer may be authorised to sponsor workers without offering sponsorship for every vacancy. VISAPilot-AI keeps those two questions separate.

Two different questions

Confusing employer capability with vacancy confirmation wastes applications and creates false hope.

1. Can the employer sponsor?

This is an employer-level check against the official register of licensed sponsors.

  • Organisation name and register match
  • Licensed immigration route
  • Register location and update date
What it means: the organisation has sponsorship capability under its listed routes.

2. Will this vacancy sponsor?

This requires evidence connected to the particular job—not merely the employer’s licence.

  • Explicit sponsorship wording
  • Role and salary eligibility signals
  • Restrictions or no-sponsorship language
What it means: vacancy evidence may be strong, possible, unclear or negative.

How to read the result

A

Confirmed evidence

The vacancy itself contains a clear sponsorship statement. Candidates must still meet the employer’s and immigration route’s requirements.

B

Possible or unclear

The employer may be licensed, but the advert does not clearly confirm sponsorship. Ask recruitment before investing heavily in the application.

C

Negative evidence

The advert says sponsorship is unavailable or requires an existing right to work. Treat that restriction seriously.

What VISAPilot-AI does not claim

We do not treat inclusion on the sponsor register as proof that a vacancy sponsors. We do not guarantee eligibility, a Certificate of Sponsorship, an interview, employment or a visa decision. Employers and the relevant authorities make those decisions.

Frequently asked questions

Does a sponsor licence mean the company will sponsor me?

No. It means the organisation is licensed for the route shown on the register. The vacancy, candidate, salary and employer decision must still be assessed.

What if the advert says nothing about sponsorship?

Silence is not confirmation or an automatic refusal. VISAPilot-AI treats it as uncertainty and recommends verifying with the employer.

How current is the information?

VISAPilot-AI records source and assessment dates so candidates can distinguish current evidence from older information. Always recheck before applying.
