Package Description: Agincare is looking for a talented and fully qualified Senior Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance team. This role is based full time in our Portland office in Dorset. Youll provide highquality financial analysis, support strategic decisionmaking, and oversee the delivery of management accounting activities. Youll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead the work of our Management Accountants, helping to drive accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the function. What youll be doing Managing the monthend process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Producing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for performance movements Preparing monthly financial performance reports, KPIs, and adhoc analysis for senior stakeholders Supporting and mentoring junior accoun Agincare is in search of a qualified Senior Management Accountant to join their finance team. The role requires a professional who excels in fast-paced environments and is eager to make impactful contributions within the organisation. Based in Portland, Dorset, this position involves delivering high-quality financial analysis, guiding strategic decisions, and managing accounting activities. The Senior Management Accountant will manage the month-end processes and produce variance analyses and performance reports for senior stakeholders. Additionally, they will support and mentor junior staff, working towards continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include managing budgets, strengthening relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. The ideal candidate will have a full ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualification with at least 23 years of experience in management accounting and a senior or supervisory role.
